20 creative ideas
Let Anna and Clara inspire you with 20 new craft projects gathered in one catalogue for you to take home.
The sisters hope these projects will fill your autumn with creativity and hygge.
Find more time for a balanced life
A deep breath can be the start of a more meaningful life, Clara read recently, and with that in mind, she and Anna have started to slow the pace of their weekdays and weekends slightly. By lowering their expectations for all they want to achieve, the sisters have not just found more time for what really matters to them – they also feel so much happier.
Allow yourself time to relax
When visiting Anna and Clara these days, you may find that the cake they serve is not necessarily home-made, and the windows are no longer polished once a week.
However, the sisters try to find time every day to make tasty dishes using good, local produce in their shared kitchen, and they always eat their evening meal together while listening to the old turntable which they have retrieved from the basement.
Balance in the bathroom and hallway
By getting up a bit earlier in the morning, Clara can enjoy a calm and relaxed start to the day. She tries to do one thing at a time and boosts her energy levels by simply looking after herself. Clara thrives on her routines, but it is very much a question of finding out what works for you. “Always be kind to others, but do not forget to look after yourself,” as Clara always says.
Renew your workspace
“A productive and enjoyable day at work starts with the right tools,” as the sisters say. Be inspired to create an organised and inviting workspace with the sisters’ many new seasonal products in a Nordic, simple and feminine look.
Get ready for the children going back to school
There is nothing quite as beautiful as the eyes of children beaming with happiness. It is admirable how much joy the little darlings derive from the smallest things. At the back of the catalogue, you will find new products for school and for creative experimentation.
“Oh, the magic of imaginative play,” Clara muses thoughtfully one early morning as she runs her fingers along the spines of the many, many books displayed in the sisters’ sitting room. She had every intention of spending the afternoon weeding out some of the many titles, but soon finds herself drawn into a fairy tale about knights, dragons and faraway kingdoms.
When she and Anna were children, their parents would often read out loud to them from amazing old books of fairy tales, and the stories often inspired the sisters’ play. And the wonderful world of fairy tales can safely be explored by children as the stories always come with a happy ending. This new collection for the youngest members of the family is inspired by the imaginative magic of fairy tales.
Anna and Clara are presenting a collection perfect for joyful relaxation and ‘hygge’ under the skies. The collection includes colourful plant pots, vases and window boxes for all the pretty spring flowers. You will also find a wide range of comfortable cushions, throws and quilted blankets for creating ‘hygge’ in the garden or on the balcony. And as something entirely new, the collection includes a variety of outdoor games and everything from hula hoops to swings for the little ones. At the back of this catalogue you will find an overview of all the new products.
In this catalogue, you can see Søstrene Grene’s new home interiors and lifestyle collection. The sisters have also tried to add tips and advice on how to create the style in your own home. Use some of their ideas, or them all – what is important is that they suit your personal style and the interior design of your home.
Anna and Clara wish you all the inspiration in the world.
Anna and Clara have lovingly created a food collection consisting of a wide range of specialty products for cooking simple, but flavourful sharing dishes. “We need more unique taste experiences. This is very important,” as Anna says. In addition, the sisters have created a palette of exciting organic baking mixes – both savoury and sweet. Anna and Clara have, of course, also designed kitchenware and accessories in the intimate and informal style favoured by the sisters.
Anna and Clara hope that you will feel inspired to create new and delicious culinary experiences.
Fashion and interior design therefore come together in this collection, which is delicately balanced with the sisters’ vision of what will be in vogue in the coming season. The sisters have tried to think outside the box and have challenged themselves and their own designs to create a completely new look.
In this very colourful catalogue, you will therefore find lots of seasonal accessories and artistic design articles for your wardrobe, home office and the rest of your home. The sisters hope that the new collection will turn the busy Christmas shopping season into a season also of freshness, beauty and joy.
The sisters hope you have a wonderful time exploring the catalogue.
What really gets Clara into the Christmas spirit is when Anna disappears into the kitchen on advent Sundays to bake for Christmas, and the characteristic smell of ‘klejner’ – the traditional Danish deep-fried twisted pastries – starts to fill their home. In the late afternoon, they enjoy the homemade Christmas biscuits in front of the fire with their family. “The most wonderful thing about December is that it brings people closer together,” says Anna.
For Anna and Clara, Christmas is very much about the joy of making other people happy. In December, the sisters always go out their way to make other people happy. For them, seeing other people happy is a joy.
Christmas is first and foremost the season of love, so make sure that the festive season is one of joy and ‘hygge’ with your nearest and dearest.
With our best wishes for a Happy Christmas.

The aim of Anna and Clara’s DIY catalogue is to provide inspiration all year round for fun projects for arts and crafts lovers of all ages. The sisters’ appreciation of natural materials is clearly reflected in the choice of materials for the projects. They have chosen to concentrate on four basic materials: self-hardening clay, leather, felt and paper.
However, you will also find projects using yarn, beads, pipe cleaners and much more. Anna and Clara hope that you will feel inspired by their creative catalogue. Remember to use #grenediy when posting photos of the projects you choose to make so the sisters can admire your creativity.

Be inspired by Anna and Clara’s new ideas for autumn
In designing this autumn’s interiors collection, the sisters have created a stylish collection based on the contrasting of softly feminine, stringently architectural and lively graphic items. The colours are soft and subdued. While Anna has indulged in geometric shapes and small, delicate patterns, Clara has added a functional touch. “The magic of interior design is the way that it can help make your home appear both more spacious and more beautiful,” Clara says.
The interiors collection includes a series of furniture made of wood veneer, carefully proportioned lamps and graphic and artistic effects for the walls. You will also discover a wide range of lovely ceramics and ever so soft textiles. And as always, the collection includes a wealth of sisterly designs of decorative home accessories and appetising kitchenware.
In the catalogue, you can experience the new collection, but also find interior design tips and ideas for creative projects and read about Anna and Clara’s fascination with new urban neighbourhoods where life and joy abound.
Welcome to a new season at Søstrene Grene.
Anna and Clara hope that you will feel inspired.
A stylish and charming office
This season Anna and Clara are pleased to present a delightful, Nordic office collection inspired by the Bauhaus movement of the 1920s and thereabouts. Simple geometrical motifs – like the cylinder, the cube and the triangle – are recurring shapes in the prints and products which the sisters have carefully selected.
The collection, which includes hardcover notebooks, ring binders and a variety of writing utensils, also comprises a stylish desk, a sculptural lamp, a gracious office chair and lots more. You will see that the paper-based products in the collection are FSC®-certified to highlight the sustainable origins of the materials. Look for the FSC® logo displayed in connection with the certified products.
In the catalogue, you can also find tips for decorating your home and ideas for your home office – and read about why four creative bloggers are so fascinated by the ‘bullet journal’ concept. Moreover, the final section of the catalogue shows a selection of office supplies for children’s rooms as well as fun drawing exercises for creative souls.

Søstrene Grene’s outdoor living collection 2018
This season, Anna and Clara are presenting an urban-inspired outdoor living collection for your balcony or terrace. The collection comprises everything from garden furniture and flowerpots to lighting and tableware products, all in a distinct graphic design. Natural green and grey hues are the prevalent colours this season, contrasting beautifully with the resplendent and colourful flora of the summer season.
In addition to the new products for the season, the catalogue presents Anna and Clara’s urban gardening tips as well as ideas on how to make the most of the limited space on your balcony or terrace. Read the interview with the gardening blogger Maria Christensen, who explains how she furnishes her personal outdoor living spaces for ‘hygge’ and happy moments.

Be inspired by Anna and Clara’s new ideas for spring
In designing their interiors collection for spring, the sisters have placed great emphasis on creating beautiful and expressive elements which will bring warmth, tranquillity and idyll to home interiors. Soft shapes and textiles in fine, subdued colours take pride of place this spring, once again combined with natural materials such as wood and rattan, which the sisters love.
Coloured glass is a trend which the sisters firmly believe in this season, and their collection includes both vases and small items of furniture with glass details. And of course, spring also means fresh flowers – which can be found both as design motifs and arranged in delightful vases throughout the catalogue.
Hopefully, you will have an absolutely wonderful time exploring the catalogue.

Nordic Christmas cosiness
with Anna and Clara
Anna and Clara’s 2017 Christmas collection
This year, the sisters have decided to put their personal touch on the traditional Nordic Christmas by combining nostalgic vintage with a modern take on the Nordic Region’s flora. Among this season’s collection are golden tones as well as variations on the traditional red and green Christmas colours.
You are hereby invited to explore the catalogue, which offers up inspiration for this year’s Christmas decorations, gift-wrapping, baking and, as something new, a whole section dedicated to Christmas gift wishes.
We wish you a wonderful and peaceful Christmas.
AN ELEGANT INTERPLAY
Create colour harmony in your home
This season, Anna recommends decorating in a simple fashion while remaining colour-conscious. As such, this autumn’s interior collection includes a minimalist interplay between cool and warm materials, as well as a balanced range of colours that interact playfully with the complimentary relationship between green hues and reddish tones.
The sisters invite you to explore the collection, which contains graceful terrazzo tables, elegant chairs, sparse metal shelves and geometric plant stands for nature’s flora. You will also find a selection of refined wooden kitchen utensils, a rustic stoneware dinner set, soft textiles – and much, much more.
Welcome to a new season at Søstrene Grene.
FOR OFFICE AND SCHOOL
The sun is shining through the window as Anna’s fountain pen runs undisturbed over a sheet of paper. Gripped by excitement and enthusiasm for her work, Anna draws delicate patterns while contemplating the joy of learning and a job well done.
Time spent diligently learning should feel like a gift for yourself, Anna thinks, which is why she is so fond of surrounding herself with beautiful, inspiring items. For some time now, she and Clara have discussed the idea of creating a line of visually appealing office and school supplies whose graceful style would motivate and promote creativity. And now the product line is finally ready.
New items – for children and adults alike
The sisters invite you to explore the catalogue, where you will find almost everything you will need for your home office or schoolwork – including handy notebooks, spacious storage units, lovely folders and useful writing utensils.
Anna has carefully drawn each pattern and motif by hand, and she has made a special effort to bring joy to both children and adults alike. Thus, the line includes exclusive floral prints with gilded details, cheerful animal motifs in summer colours and much, much more.

SET THE SUMMER MOOD WITH
Anna and Clara’s latest items for
the season’s outdoor living
It is a sunny summer day on a tiny balcony, and Anna and Clara are relaxing and enjoying a batch of fresh lemonade. Surrounded by beautiful, blooming city gardens and neighbouring balconies, the two sisters lean back in their respective garden chairs and contemplate the green delights that have popped up in the middle of the city in recent years. They are pleased by the trend – and Anna feels so inspired that ideas for a new collection begin to take shoot inside of her. Later that day, and with a great deal of excitement, Anna explains to Clara how she would like to assemble a small, new outdoor collection. And now that collection is finally ready.
Anna describes the collection as an exciting blend of the playful combined with more tranquil and simple elements. The colours that characterise the collection are green, rose/terracotta and dark blue, and they come together to create a stylish focal point for your home’s outdoor areas.
Budding new items
We invite you to explore the new collection, which includes elegant garden chairs and tables as well as chair cushions and blankets. You will also find a large selection of balcony planters and flowerpots in a refreshing range of colours.
Anna has also incorporated fine details for the outdoor scenery in the form of cosy lanterns, vases and tealight holders.
Welcome to a new season at Søstrene Grene.
Original and irresistible Paris
In the city of all cities, Paris, one finds the most enchanting ambience. It is a place where dreams and designer ideas can truly run free. This is something Anna knows firsthand from her days as a student in a Parisian design school. Anna was visited by Clara during her semester-long stay, and together the sisters explored the city from the rattan cane chairs at local bistros found along the lovely streets of Paris.
Even though the memories remain strong in their minds, it is only when the sisters find themselves face to face with the beauty of Paris that they remember just how enthralled they are by the city, its lovely architecture and its unmatched elegance. With fresh inspiration from the French capital and sophisticated Parisians, the sisters have created a new interior collection.
The springtime home must be full of colour and life
The springtime interior collection offers a taste of Parisian decadence and Scandinavian minimalism. It is an exciting mix of traditional and modern. Anna describes the collection as eclectic with plenty of fun, combined with various styles, colour hues, patterns and textures brought together into a fantastic whole.
We invite you to discover the new collection, where among other things you will find fascinating lighting, elegant chairs and pouffes, decorative shelves and refined trolley tables – all perfect for still life. You will also find a selection of soft textiles, kitchen equipment as well as ceramic vases and candle holders. Everything in a beautiful colour symbiosis.
