Søstrene Grene’s Import A/S (‘Søstrene Grene’) holds regular competitions, for example on Facebook.
Søstrene Grene’s competitions on Facebook are neither sponsored by, supported by, administered by nor in any other way associated with Facebook.
The terms set out below apply to all competitions organised by Søstrene Grene, unless otherwise specified in the competition.
Unless otherwise stated, entering Søstrene Grene’s competitions is free, and it is only possible to enter once. Søstrene Grene may exclude any persons found to be using a false name or identity from entering future competitions.
Søstrene Grene’s employees and members of their households are precluded from entering the competitions. Moreover, the employees of third-party business partners and members of their households are also precluded from entering the competitions sponsored by such business partners.
The winner/winners is/are randomly drawn and announced in the competition thread on Facebook. If the winner does not make contact within 14 days of a draw, Søstrene Grene reserves the right to draw a new winner.
All competition winners are then contacted directly by Søstrene Grene, and by entering the competitions, entrants give permission for Søstrene Grene to contact the winner(s) directly via their Facebook inbox to arrange collection and/or delivery of prizes.
Anybody entering a competition after the specified time limit will not be included in the draw, and it is up to Søstrene Grene to decide whether entries are received in due time and can be approved. It also means that Søstrene Grene cannot be held responsible for technical breakdowns or other factors that may delay entries. It is the entrants’ responsibility to register in due time.
Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash. The winners must inform Søstrene Grene about their name, address, telephone number and email address as well as the date on which they would like their prize to be delivered. The winners may specify delivery of prizes between 8:00 and 12 noon or between 12 noon and 16:00 on weekdays*. In connection with home deliveries, large prizes will be delivered to street level. If it is not possible to make delivery as agreed, the winner may be charged additional costs for such unsuccessful delivery attempt/extra delivery.
* In the following markets, prizes are not sent directly to winners: Norway, Iceland, the Faroe Islands and Switzerland. In these markets, winners must collect their prizes from a Søstrene Grene store.
Prizes worth more than DKK 750 are taxed. The tax rate is 17.5%, which is calculated on the portion of the market price of the prize that exceeds DKK 750. It is the winner’s responsibility to report the prize to the tax authorities. Søstrene Grene accepts no responsibility for any possible consequences for winners of not reporting their prizes to the tax authorities.
Prizes may vary in colour, size and patterns compared to the picture shown in Søstrene Grene’s competition notice.
By entering a competition, entrants accept the competition terms and conditions. Competitions may be terminated without notice, and Søstrene Grene’s decision is final.
