Anna has been using some time at her sewing machine. You might remember these scrunchies from your childhood? Anna remembers and the thought makes her a little nostalgic. She is making scrunchies for her niece who is planning a weekend visit. A fine little project for all Anna’s left-over fabrics. If you have an old scarf you do not use any longer, this can also function as material for your production of scrunchies.

Anna’s recipe:
Cut a piece of fabric 56 x 11 cm Sew on both sides ½ cm Fold the long fabric into half, right sides together, sew into a long tube Turn the fabric right sides out Feed elastic band through the fabric tube, about 24 cm long, tie a knot and trim the excess. Hand stitch both sides opening together.
