Become a franchisee – how to apply

A unique concept with a unique culture

INTRODUCTION to Søstrene Grene

First off, we would like to welcome you to this company video,
which will take you on a tour through Anna and Clara’s wonderful world.

1. Why should you choose Søstrene Grene?

A strong concept with over 40 years of experience

In 1973, the wonderful tale of Søstrene Grene began in Aarhus, Denmark. It is the story of the two elderly Grene sisters, Anna and Clara, who diligently work to create little, bright differences in the everyday.

With great passion, the sisters develop new designs within their product categories, e.g. interior design, stationary, gift wrapping, crafts, kitchen goods and toys for children. The stores receive a wealth of new products every week, and many of these items are only sold for shorter periods of time. Common to all products is an elegant and feminine expression that brings beauty to everyday life, while the prices are always kept at a reasonable level. To Anna and Clara, it is important that customers feel that they have found a bargain.

Søstrene Grene is based on strong family values, which means that customers can place complete trust in the products they find in the stores.

This approach means that we feel a great sense of community with our customers, and this is something we truly cherish. Therefore, it is important that our franchisees help to embody this unique brand DNA, as good results are obtained through positive customer experiences.

We have a strong set of values which we call ‘the sisterly spirit‘.

Søstrene Grene’s culture and set of values have developed since the early 1970s, and they still remain intact today after a generational change. The sisterly spirit permeates the entire culture of the organisation, from the main office to the storeemployees, and it helps to ensure Søstrene Grene’s shared success. The cornerstone of the sisterly spirit consists of empathy, charity, care and respect for other people.

Respect, Integrity & Honesty
