The sisters’ novelties for the four-legged family members has inspired Anna to create a dog biscuit recipe.

Anna’s recipe becomes approximately 45 dog biscuits depending on thickness and shape.

Ingredients:
600 ml oatmeal
200 ml rye
150 ml wheat flour
1 tsp oil
100 ml boiling water
50 ml beef or chicken broth*
2 eggs

Mix all the ingredients. If the dough is really sticky, add more oatmeal. If it seems too dry, add more oil or water.

Roll out the dough onto baking paper and cut out the biscuits. Place the dog biscuits on a couple of baking trays, and if you would like, you can brush them with a bit of broth.

Bake the dog biscuits in the oven at 180 degrees for about 45 minutes until golden and crispy.

*You can make your own broth or buy one with a low salt content.
